MISSION
Turin has historically been the capital of industrial production.
In its long post-industrial phase, still in progress, it has rediscovered itself as strongly oriented towards processes of knowledge and innovation, sustainability, sharing and inclusion.
– Its traditional and recognised love of design and beauty can now be blended in a powerful alchemy that identifies the principle of sustainability as the essential best practice for any hypothesis of future development.
– The NEB’s challenge is to imagine not only a project – that can be selected and financed by the European Commission – but also and above all a winning and reproducible process proposal that implements practices of urban regenerative transformation according to the criteria of design, sustainability (European Green Deal), inclusion and active social participation, participatory production (circular economy), attention to nature, health and well-being of people.
